Dr. Hovhannisyan is a Los Angeles native that graduated from CSU, Northridge with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston, College of Optometry where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.
​Dr. Hovhannisyan obtained advanced training in keratoconus and scleral lenses from Plaza Vision Center in Dallas, TX and medical vision care in glaucoma from the Veterans Affairs Hospital in New Orleans, LA.
